NEW! Honored Member CategoryMembers who are either permanently or temporarily retired from the active practice of law may join as Honored Members. The rate and benefits are the same as Professional Nonlawyer membership, but Honored Members may not vote. The Honored Member category will allow members who want to continue to contribute and be part of OCDLA to do so at a reduced rate.
Annual membership dues run from July 1 through June 30 and include The Oregon Defense Attorney journal, access to the Library of Defense, publication discounts, CLE seminar discounts, a free Legislative Analysis (PDF version) after each legislative session, weekly Criminal Appellate Review, membership directory, expert witness database access, Capital Defenders Group member eligibility, members-only brief bank, members-only email listserves. Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable.
THOSE JOINING FOR THE FIRST TIME — Rates prorate quarterly on Oct 1 ($112.50), Jan 1 ($75), and Apr 1 ($37.50). You will be given a credit for the prorated amount manually if you choose to join online. The credit will process back to your card for the difference of the prorated membership. You may also call the OCDLA office at (541) 686-8716 and have your new membership processed over the phone for the correct prorated amount.
