Part Five: How to ID Neurodivergent Individuals and When to Get a Consult, Review, or Evaluation
Presenter:
Leslie Carter, Ph.D.
Dr. Leslie Carter is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Tigard Oregon since 2000. She is a forensic expert witness in neuropsychology, clinical psychology, autism (ASD) and Intellectual disabilities (IDD). Research found that individuals with autism are seven times more likely to be involved with the law enforcement than neurotypical individuals. Dr. Carter conducts forensic and psychosexual evaluations, including for those with ASD and/or IDD.
Dr. Carter worked with individuals suffering from chronic pain. She has a strong practice focus on serving clients and families and is sought after for her careful assessments.
She works comprehensively in the community consulting about agency supports, family issues, behavioral needs, forensic assistance, vocational and school accommodations. Since 2003, Dr. Carter has consulted and taught continuing education classes on ASD related topics to professionals. She ran an ASD parents support group for many years. Dr. Carter is an Oregon Forensic Examiner.

“Dear Attorneys: What Seasoned Psychologists Want You to Know” is a unique, tailored webinar experience crafted by these seasoned psychologists with a combined 180 years experience in the field.
