HB 2005 from the 2025 legislative session includes major changes to the mental health laws that impact most of your practice. Allison Knight (Lead Mental Health Attorney at Public Defender Services of Lane County) will cover Aid and Assist, including Community Restoration, Guilty Except for Insanity (GEI), and Declaration for Mental Health Treatment (DMHTs) and Extremely Dangerous Person Commitment.
