Leading Behind the Scene
A powerful and effective leader, David has led with action and inspiration, out front and behind the scenes, throughout his long and colorful career. From "socialist studies" teacher to Life Member of OCDLA, David's career in the trenches for justice has taken him through MPD, MDI, the ACLU, NACDL, WACDL, the Washington Defenders Association, the OCDLA Board of Directors, Education and Legislative Committees, as well as in private practice in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington. Join us to recognize David and his unwavering commitment to justice.
David is the 20th recipient of the Ken Morrow Lifetime Achievement Award, which dates back to 2001. The award was created by OCDLA following the passing of renowned Eugene attorney Ken Morrow to recognize the lifelong commitment and significant achievements of attorneys who have worked in the defense community, and those who have made important contributions to the administration of justice.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations prior to the RSVP date (the Monday prior to the dinner) are eligible for a refund, or the ticket may be donated to offset costs associated with the dinner or to another person. Starting in 2024, OCDLA cannot provide refunds for cancellations after the RSVP date.
